Star Trek First Contact accomplishes quite a bit. First it firmly plants the Next Generation crew on their footing as film stars. However it also tells a fantastic story in which the crew of the Enterprise is forced to travel back in time to do battle with the Borg. First Contact is easily the best of the Next Gen feature films and we highly recommend it to fans of The Next Generations.
