The first round of the Star Trek HD DVD rollout has arrived. Season one of Star Trek The Original Series has been released on HD DVD. The first season of Star Trek brought us a number of classic episodes, including Space Seed, Balance of Terror, and, of course, The City on the Edge of Forever.

Star Trek HD DVD looks fantastic and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Star Trek The Original Series season one is also available on Blu-Ray disc and I have that link below as well. Future seasons are expected to be released in short time on the HD DVD format. So check back soon.
