Get your Star Trek Original DVD Here.

More than forty years after the launch of Star Trek on television the Star Trek Orginal DVD remains a hot item. It has been more than a generation since the television tales of Captain Kirk and crew delighted a generation in the 1960s. The characters have become inconic and those early yarns still delight the imagination of Star Trek fans everywhere.

I was not even born when Star Trek debuted. Nevertheless, I have seen all 78 original episodes several times each. They are almost required viewing for fans of the medium, and they are must own for Trekkies like myself.

There have been several incarnations of the Star Trek Original DVD. The remastering of all 78 episodes brings Star Trek into the home in all its brilliant sounds and colors. Also, beginning April 28, 2009 Paramount will be rolling out the complete series on BLU-RAY disc. The first season of Star Trek is scheduled for release on April 28. I have included the purchase link because as of March you can already pre-order.
