The Star Trek Voyager DVD set details the adventures of the starship Voyager and her attempt to return home to Earth after being cast many decades of travel away. The show is remarkablely “trek” yet very different from the other series as well. The show crackles with energy from a very strong cast from Kate Mulgrew as Janeway down to the various guest spots from Trek notables.

The premise of the show is unique in that the crew can not simply stop by the nearest starbase to get repairs. Neither can the crew call for backup in the hairiest of times. This simple reality provides Star Trek Voyager with a different dynamic than any of the other Trek incarnations.
